Miriama has been with Te Atawhai o Te Ao since 2012. Miriama first joined as an Administrator, transitioned to Business Manager in 2017, and then became our Research Manager in 2020. In her Research Manager role, Miriama manages the relationships with research collaborators, oversees project funding, and supports the strategic management of the organisation. Miriama left for a short while and then has returned as a researcher while she completes her PhD. Miriama enjoys growing with the organisation, being able to exercise her unique skill set in her role as Research Manager, all while working in an independent Kaupapa Māori organisation.
